Ika trotted over a slight hill and looked at her home. The waterfall poured over the cliff and into the stream. She smiled and trotted down. Hinata and Neji were her guests so he would show them around and see where they wanted to sleep. "Home sweet home." she said with a slight smile.
A stallion stood over looking the valley and watched as his daughter came in with the strangers.

"W-wow," Hinata said, looking around,"It re-reminds me of h-home." Neji grunted. Someone was watching them. And, he hated to be reminded of home. Murdurous, evil main herd. The smell of a stallion became stronger, and he frowned. Hinata, on the other hand, didn't notice.

The stallion snorted as he smelled a rogue stallion. What had his daughter done this time? He trotted down the side of the cliff along one of the paths.
Ika looked up as the stallion trotted down. "Oh no." she muttered to herself.
Rhoundskel glared at his daughter. "What are /they/ doing here?" he snorted at her.
Ika looked up at her father. "Wanderers, They needed a place to stay over night." she said, her voice trembling slightly.
Hound clenched his jaw. "You will never grow up will you? Pathetic scrap of a child. It's your fault your mother died. If you hadn't been born, zuchi would still be alive." He snarled, taking his anger out on his only daughter. She may be pampered, but it didn't mean he liked her much.
Ika lowered her head. "But you said- yes, Hound. It's my fault." she said submisively. "This is Hinata." she said indicating with her head to the mare. "And that is Neji." she said nodding to the stallion.
Hound glared at his daughter then at the stallion. He wouldn't mind if the mare joined the herd but a stallion had no place even coming here. His daughter was so stupid. "Not to mention your mother left me with a stupid, immature brat." he said, having found another insult to throw at his offspring.
Ika looked down. It hurt still, even after he had said it so many times. "I said they could stay over night. It's cold, Hound, horses shouldn't be out in the cold so long at night too." she said, her voice always meek. If any attitude got in it, more tongue lashings. Insults. Why did she have to be so immature!? She questioned for the millionth time.

Neji rolled his eyes. The so-called 'lord of the lights' spoke too largely for himself. However, he was right about his daughter, amazingly. Now, the glare didn't bother him the slightest bit, but being rude to your guests was unacceptable. Hinata, on the other hand, was supressing the urge to comfort Ika. She had faced both Neji, and the lord in one day, when she imagined that only one would be horrible enough.

Hound glared at Neji again. "One night. No longer." he turned his lashingn tongue on Ikazuchi. "Get out of my sight! Perhaps I will sire another to take my place and simply kill you for your immaturity. Be gone!" he snarled at her.
Ika nodded and bolted away from him, only to stop at a stream near by to wade across and hide from his wrath.
Hound glared after his daughter. "I hope she catches her death." he muttered to himself, then to the two horses, "Don't be any trouble, or I'll have to kill you." he said, turning on them and trotting away.
(She is still there. If you want, she can come back after her father is gone.)

Hinata looked at Hound with wide eyes, said nothing, and then followed Ika. "It's okay," she said, as soon as they were out of earshot of Hound and Neji. However, that left Neji alone with the lord, who was walking away. Neji smirked. Of course. Death threats would scare him away. Not. This lord was too big for himself. Much too big. If it wasn't for the fact that he was a guest, he'd have started a fight with the lord any minute.

Ika dipped her head to the mare. "It's a lie. It's not my fault." she said softly. "He told me a dark killed her. My mom's friend told me a rogue killed her. I don't know what to believe any more. I can't stand it here." she said quietly, not looking at Hinata.

"It's okay. It's definitely not at all your fault. But, why don't you leave if you hate it so much?" Hinata asked, walking next to Ika.

Ika sighed. "Because, if he dies, who will rule? He is bound to fight the darks soon. When he does, he will probly lose, he thinks to highly of himself, and who would take the thrown unless the darks take over, then the whole heard submits to dies, or so the story goes." she said, rubbing her mussle on her leg.

Hinata nodded,"Good point. I'm glad that's not the case at my home. If it was, I'd wouldn't been able to leave and get better at everything."
OhOhSee;; How could she rub her leg? She has no hands! XD

ooc: "rubbing her mussle on her leg" Her mussle. Head, nose, lower half of head.
bic:
Ika sighed. "I want to go but I don't have anywhere to go. Being a wanderer scares me." she muttered. She touched her mussle to the mares shoulder. "Thank you." she whispered.

Ika looked up. "Yes you have, you've been the listener to my problems when I had nobody else." she said, smiling slightly. Ika sighed and flicked her tail at an offending fly who had just bit her.

Hinata smiled, "Okay. W-well, I guess we should go back. N-Neji is probably bitter right now."
